
Stephanie Hackett
Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics

Stephanie qualified with Honours from the University of Sheffield in 2014 and went on to complete her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2015. She later achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education with Merit from Cardiff University, followed by Membership in Prosthodontics in 2022. In 2023, she successfully completed the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship Examination, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Restorative Dentistry.
She is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Rehabilitation at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton, where she leads the Restorative Dentistry service and provides complex oral rehabilitation for patients with head and neck cancer, hypodontia, trauma and congenital conditions. She has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary teams and has a strong interest in prehabilitation and advanced prosthodontic care.
Stephanie is committed to education and regularly teaches on prosthodontics, occlusion, tooth wear and restorative techniques across the UK. She also examines for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and contributes to national curriculum and professional society work, currently serving as Honorary Secretary of the British Society of Prosthodontics.
She has published widely in peer‑reviewed journals and presented her work nationally and internationally, with particular interests in oncology rehabilitation and zygomatic implant‑based reconstruction.
Outside of dentistry, Stephanie is a former national‑level swimmer and now likes to keep active with CrossFit and cycling. She was raised locally and is now proud to be back in the area to serve and care for her community.
