Kanwar Singh Ratra

Kanwar qualified as a dental surgeon at Liverpool Dental School in 1999 and went on to gain his membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (London) in 2004. In 2015, he completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Birmingham in 2015.
Kanwar is an experienced dental practitioner who is passionate about the profession, and the treatment and care he offers his patients. With nearly two decades of experience, he loves treating nervous patients and guiding them through their dental treatment journey. Most recently he has attended the Invisalign Go training course and is thrilled to be able to offer this discreet orthodontic treatment to our patients.
He was a clinical lecturer at Birmingham Dental Hospital from 2003 to 2012 and enjoys investing his time in providing quality education for patients, other dentists and healthcare professionals. Kanwar has also been elected as the President of the British Dental Association for Central Counties 2015-2017.
When not involved in dentistry, Kanwar enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Graham Stokes qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1984. He achieved his MFGDP (UK) in 1998 and DPDS from Bristol University in 2007. In 2008, he gained the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons, including an advanced certificate in bone grafting and sinus lifts. He is also proud to have won the Schottlander Prosthetics prize in 2005.
Graham achieved a certificate in postgraduate medical education in 2006. He was an adviser in Vocational Training for ten years and the BDA Advance adviser. He now lectures nationwide on implants, providing beautiful full dentures, occlusion and treatment planning.
He also takes referrals for implants, major dental reconstruction work and full dentures.
He is passionate about dentistry and education, and heavily involved in postgraduate dental education locally and nationally. From 2010-2014, he sat on the principal executive committee of the British Dental Association and was chair of the BDA’s Health and Science committee from 2010-2015. He still is a member of the Health and Science Committee.
Graham is a special adviser and clinical lead for the dental charity Bridge2aid which provides education and dental care to some of the poorest people in the world in Tanzania.
Graham is a Worcestershire man born and bred – he grew up, went to school and now lives in Malvern with his family. He is a black belt in Aikido – a Japanese martial art involving sword, knife and unarmed self-defence. He also enjoys hill walking, personal fitness and first and second world war history.
Simon (Giles) Round
BDS(Birm) MFGDP(UK) MPhil
Giles qualified in 1999 from Birmingham Dental School, where he also went on to complete an MPhil in Endodontics in 2011. In addition, he gained the UCL Certificate in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute.
Giles regularly lectures to dentists on a variety of endodontic subjects and has had an extract of a research project published at the International Association of Dental Research conference.
Giles has a young family and loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also unwinds by playing the piano.

Harriet qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 2003 and achieved her MFGDP (UK) in 2005. She is now a member of the teaching faculty at Birmingham Dental Hospital, where her work involves treating anxious and special needs patients with sedation, as well as teaching sedation to undergraduate and postgraduate students. In 2009, Harriet completed the Diploma in Conscious Sedation from the University of Newcastle and was awarded the prize for the most outstanding student of the year!
Harriet’s approach to dentistry has always been to provide high-quality work in a relaxed and friendly environment to ensure her patients have the best experience possible.
Harriet has always enjoyed various active pastimes including swimming, skiing, surfing and sailing, although finding time for all this is now a little more difficult as she is mum to two adorable boys.

Madeleine qualified from Birmingham Dental School and joined the practice in August 2013. She was awarded the MJDF with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016. Originally from Derbyshire, Madeleine moved to the West Midlands in 2007.
Madeleine strives to build strong relationships with her patients and provide excellent clinical care. She is committed to offering state of the art dentistry to her patients and jumps at every opportunity to participate in extra courses including those in oral surgery, periodontics and restorative dentistry. She has completed a one-year postgraduate certificate course with the prestigious Aspire Dental Academy for Advanced Operative Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry.
She loves to keep active and socialising with her family and friends. She also enjoys watching theatrical productions and has a keen interest in cuisine.
General Medical Practitioner
MBChB BSc MRCGP DRCOG
Dalvinder qualified from Leicester Medical School in 2002. She trained in various medical and surgical specialities in the UK and New Zealand before becoming a GP in 2008. Dr Ratra works in a local general practice and also as a locum for practices across the Midlands.
General practice has enabled Dalvinder to widen her skillset. She has also completed Minor Surgery and Cosmetic Aesthetic training in anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Dalvinder aims to provide the highest standard of care along with a caring and relaxed approach.
In her spare time, Dalvinder loves spending time with her three children, as well as travelling and experiencing different cultures. She is also a bit of a book worm (when her children allow her to be so).
