What does interdental cleaning involve?

Interdental brushes

We will recommend the correct size brushes for your individual needs and show you how to use them for best results. Use the brush above the gum margin, in between the teeth. Brush forwards and backwards a few times, rinsing if necessary. You should then repeat this process for all the spaces between your teeth.

Flossing

Break off 30-40 centimetres of floss and wind it around the middle fingers of each hand, or use a ‘Y’ shaped flossing device. Guide the floss between your teeth using a gentle rubbing motion. When it reaches the gum line, slide it into the space between the gum and tooth, holding it tightly as you move it up and down. Make sure you use a clean piece of floss for each space.
