
Kanwar Singh Ratra

Kanwar qualified as a dental surgeon at Liverpool Dental School in 1999 and went on to gain his membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (London) in 2004. In 2015, he completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Birmingham in 2015.
Kanwar is an experienced dental practitioner who is passionate about the profession, and the treatment and care he offers his patients. With nearly two decades of experience, he loves treating nervous patients and guiding them through their dental treatment journey. Most recently he has attended the Invisalign Go training course and is thrilled to be able to offer this discreet orthodontic treatment to our patients.
He was a clinical lecturer at Birmingham Dental Hospital from 2003 to 2012 and enjoys investing his time in providing quality education for patients, other dentists and healthcare professionals. Kanwar has also been elected as the President of the British Dental Association for Central Counties 2015-2017.
When not involved in dentistry, Kanwar enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Simon (Giles) Round
BDS(Birm) MFGDP(UK) MPhil

Giles qualified in 1999 from Birmingham Dental School, where he also went on to complete an MPhil in Endodontics in 2011. In addition, he gained the UCL Certificate in Endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute.
Giles regularly lectures to dentists on a variety of endodontic subjects and has had an extract of a research project published at the International Association of Dental Research conference.
Giles has a young family and loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also unwinds by playing the piano.

Madeleine Bickley

Madeleine qualified from Birmingham Dental School and joined the practice in August 2013. She was awarded the MJDF with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016. Originally from Derbyshire, Madeleine moved to the West Midlands in 2007.
Madeleine strives to build strong relationships with her patients and provide excellent clinical care. She is committed to offering state of the art dentistry to her patients and jumps at every opportunity to participate in extra courses including those in oral surgery, periodontics and restorative dentistry. She has completed a one-year postgraduate certificate course with the prestigious Aspire Dental Academy for Advanced Operative Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry.
She loves to keep active and socialising with her family and friends. She also enjoys watching theatrical productions and has a keen interest in cuisine.
Rachael qualified with a BDS from the University of Birmingham in 2013.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, tooth whitening, and composite bonding, where she can create a better appearance of the teeth in a minimally invasive manner. She has also taken further training in botulinum toxin therapy in the world-renowned Bob Khanna Training Institute, and uses these skills to provide anti aging treatments, as well as treatment of TMJD and headaches.
Away from work, Rachael enjoys travelling, swimming, and walking in the country with her two rescue dogs Jackson and Millie.
Amar achieved his BDS at the University of Liverpool in 2021 and joined the practice in 2022. Amar has built a great rapport with his patients and has a very caring and calm approach to dentistry.
Andreas Charalampous

Andreas graduated from Masaryk University in Czech Republic in 2014 and since then he showed interest in oral surgery and dental implants. He has a MSc in Dental Implantology and has completed numerous courses related to soft tissue management around implants and surgical extractions. Andreas accepts referrals to the practice for dental implants and oral surgery.

Dalvinder Ratra

Dalvinder qualified from Leicester Medical School in 2002. She trained in various medical and surgical specialities in the UK and New Zealand before becoming a GP in 2008. Dr Ratra works in a local general practice and also as a locum for practices across the Midlands.
General practice has enabled Dalvinder to widen her skillset. She has also completed Minor Surgery and Cosmetic Aesthetic training in anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. Dalvinder aims to provide the highest standard of care along with a caring and relaxed approach.
In her spare time, Dalvinder loves spending time with her three children, as well as travelling and experiencing different cultures. She is also a bit of a book worm (when her children allow her to be so).
